Notification 2020-078
Surveys on the Special Virtual Sessions for SBSTTA 24 and SBI 3, including the Trial Phase of an Open-Ended Forum on Review of Implementation, held from 15 to 18 September 2020
Dear Madam/Sir, Following the convening of the special virtual sessions for SBSTTA 24 and SBI 3, from 15 to 18 September 2020, I am pleased to invite Parties and observers to share their experiences on holding these sessions by completing two surveys. The first survey seeks comments on the use of the online platform, while the second survey aims to gather feedback on how a party-led SBI open-ended forum on the review of implementation could be further developed as a part of the review mechanisms for the Convention. The questions in the second survey have been tailored to collect targeted feedback from different respondents (i.e. Parties that made presentations during the review, Parties that attended the review and observers). I encourage you to complete the surveys by 16 October 2020. The two surveys are available in all United Nations languages and accessible at: 1. Survey on Virtual Meetings User Experience: https://bit.ly/cbd-survey-virtual 2. Survey on the Trial Phase of an Open-Ended Forum on Review of Implementation: https://bit.ly/cbd-survey-revimp I look forward to receiving your feedback and take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support to the work of the Convention. Please accept, Madam/Sir, the assurances of my highest consideration.
