Notification 2009-042

Dear Madam/Sir, I have the pleasure of informing you that the electronic versions of the promotional material related to this year’s celebrations of the International Day for Biological Diversity (IDB) under the theme of “Invasive Alien Species” are now available on the Secretariat’s website at: http://www.cbd.int/idb/2009/ . The IDB 2009 promotional material includes: a booklet in English and French versions available for download in pdf format in low resolution and in high resolution to be used for off set printing; the IDB poster; and a bookmark. The Spanish version of the booklet will be available shortly. A limited number of hard copies of the booklet, poster and bookmark will be mailed out to developing country Parties in the days to come. I invite you to inform the Secretariat, no later than 1st July 2009, of detailed activities of the celebration for inclusion in the 2009 IDB report.
