Dear Madam/Sir, On behalf of the Government of India, and in accordance with Decision X/46 of the Conference of the Parties, I am pleased to inform you that sixth meeting of the Conference of the Parties serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety (COP MOP 6) will be held at Hyderabad, India, from 1 to 5 October 2012. You will find attached the draft Provisional Agenda for your information. The Annotated Agenda and the Information Note for Participants will be forwarded to you as soon as possible.
