Deadline extension for submission of poster proposals and extended abstracts for the Fifteenth Meeting of the Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical, and Technological Advice (SBSTTA-15) to be held in Montréal, Canada, from 7 to 11 November 2011
Dear Madam/Sir, The purpose of this notification is to announce that the deadline for submission of poster proposals requested in notification 2011-140 of 28 July 2011, available on the Secretariat’s website at http://www.cbd.int/doc/notifications/2011/ntf-2011-140-sbstta15-en.pdf, has been extended from 30 August to 30 September 2011. Poster topics should directly reflect the poster session theme selected for this meeting: “Contribution of ecosystem restoration to the objectives of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and a healthy planet for all people”. Please indicate your intention to present a poster and accompanying two-page abstract by completing and returning, as soon as possible but before 30 September 2011, the attached form by fax +514-288-6588 or email to secretariat@cbd.int. Please note that extended abstracts must also be submitted by 30 September to allow them to be published and made available for the meeting. Upon receipt of the attached form, duly completed, the Secretariat will forward guidelines for the preparation of the posters and extended abstracts.
