Training Seminar organized by the Consortium of Scientific Partners on Biodiversity at the margins of the Fifteenth Meeting of the Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice (SBSTTA-15), 5 November 2011- Montreal, Canada

Dear Madam/Sir, I am pleased to inform you that a training seminar is being organised by the Consortium of Scientific Partners on Biodiversity to provide participants with tools and advice on strengthening the role of science in NBSAP revision, the Strategic Plan, and the Aichi Biodiversity Targets. The training seminar will take place on Saturday, 5 November 2011, from 9:30am to 5:30pm, at the Biodiversity Centre in the Botanic Gardens of Montreal, Canada. Lunch, refreshments and a tour around the Botanical Gardens will be provided. The training seminar will be given in English, with support in French. The provisional agenda of the seminar is attached. The seminar is open to participants of the fifteenth meeting of the Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice (SBSTTA-14) and the participants of the Ad Hoc group on Article 8(j) and related provisions (WG8J-7).
