Twelfth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP-12) and seventh meeting of the Conference of the Parties serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety (COP/MOP-7)
Dear Madam/Sir, I am pleased to inform you of the decision of the Government of the Republic of Korea to offer to host the twelfth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP-12) and the seventh meeting of the Conference of the Parties serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety (COP/MOP-7). The Conference of the Parties will decide on the dates and venue of COP-12 and COP/MOP-7 at its eleventh meeting, to be held in Hyderabad, India, on 8-19 October 2012.
