Notification 2017-036

Dear Madam/Sir, I refer to notification 2017-012, dated 16 February 2017, inviting Parties to contribute to the process of piloting and further development of a methodology for the voluntary peer review mechanism for national biodiversity strategies and action plans (NBSAPs) through participating as a reviewee or by nominating a reviewer. Parties are also encouraged to participate in this process by providing financial support. Parties that have not yet shared their interest on this issue are still invited to do so. Nominations should be sent to the Secretariat at secretariat@cbd.int or by fax at +1-514-288-6588 by 19 May 2017. Nominations for participating as a reviewer should indicate direct experience in the implementation of the Convention on Biological Diversity and/or in evaluation, and should be accompanied by a curriculum vitae showing excellent writing and communication skills.
