Dear Madam/Sir, The United Nations Environment Programme is currently implementing a project funded by the Global Environment Facility on “Sustainable Capacity Building for Effective Participation in the BCH”, commonly known as the BCH III project. The project is conducting a survey to collect information on: a) immediate relevant BCH and biosafety needs to guide and fine-tune the BCH III project capacity-building interventions in light of the COVID-19 pandemic; and b) implementation of the BCH and biosafety measures in general. The survey will also gather perspectives on what can be instituted at the national and global levels to generally enhance the knowledge, awareness, participation and sustainability of the BCH and biosafety over the longer term. As part of the collaboration between the Secretariat and the BCH III project, I am pleased to invite you to complete the survey and to share it with other colleagues in your Government who may also wish to take part in it.
