Dear Madam/Sir, I have the honour to inform Parties and stakeholders that an information webinar on the outcomes of the meeting of the Informal Group on the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework is being convened by the Co-chairs of the Open-ended Working Group on the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework (WG2020). As agreed at the fourth meeting of the Open-ended Working Group (WG2020-4) and under the guidance of the Bureau of the Conference of the Parties, the Informal Group met from 26 to 30 September 2022 in Montreal, Canada, with a view to facilitating the work of the upcoming fifth meeting of the Open-ended Working Group (WG2020-5). The information webinar will be held on Tuesday, 8 November 2022, from 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. (EDT, UTC-4) and from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (EDT, UTC-4), to accommodate participants in different time zones. The webinar is intended to inform Parties and stakeholders about the outcomes of the Informal Group meeting, the report of which is also made available for participants at WG2020-5, to be held prior to the second part of the fifteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties. The information webinar will be conducted in English and one of the sessions will be recorded and made available on the CBD website to accommodate those unable to take part.
