Notification 2023-107

Invitation to Participate in the CBD Website Improvement Survey

Dear Madam/Sir, As part of its efforts to revamp and improve the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) website (https://www.cbd.int), the Secretariat has launched an online survey to collect feedback and insights from the users of the website regarding its current usability, functionality, content coverage and performance, with a view to identifying potential enhancements and upgrades to better support the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework and the communication, web and knowledge management strategies. The survey has been designed in response to paragraph 8(c) of decision 15/14 of the Conference of the Parties, which requests the Executive Secretary to continue to develop corporate communications for the Secretariat, including support for a dynamic and growing use of social media, traditional media outreach, the ongoing work to redesign the website, and the development of new, and strengthening of ongoing, communications campaigns. I therefore invite all focal points, indigenous peoples and local communities, and relevant organizations to respond to the survey at their earliest convenience, but no later than 6 November 2023. The survey should not take more than 10 minutes to complete. The survey can be accessed as follows: 1. For desktop or laptop, please click on this link: https://forms.office.com/e/gZHLhw0TbE 2. For smart phone or tablet, please scan the QR code below: Please do not hesitate to contact the Secretariat at secretariat@cbd.int in case you have any questions about the survey. I would like to thank you in advance for your response and for your continued cooperation and commitment to the work of the Convention and its Protocols. Please accept, Sir, Madam, the assurances of my highest consideration.
