The CBD Secretariat is holding an information webinar on the outcomes of the meeting of the Informal Group on the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework. The webinar is being convened by the Co-Chairs of the Open-Ended Working Group on the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework (WG2020). As agreed at the fourth meeting of the Open-Ended Working Group (WG2020-4) and under the guidance of the Bureau of the Conference of the Parties, the Informal Group met from 26 to 30 September 2022, in Montréal, Canada, with a view to facilitating the work of the fifth meeting of the Open-Ended Working group on the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework (WG2020-5).
This information webinar, convened by the WG2020 Co-Chairs, will be held on Tuesday 8 November, from 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. (EDT, UTC-4) and 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (EDT, UTC-4), with a view to accommodating Parties and stakeholders in different time zones. The webinar is intended to inform Parties and stakeholders about the key outcomes of the Informal Group meeting, the report on which is made available for participants at the fifth meeting of the Working Group (WG2020-5), to be held prior to the second part of the fifteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties.
The briefing will be conducted in English and one of the sessions will be fully recorded and made available on this page to accommodate those unable to take part. Participants are invited to pre-register to the webinar through the respective links above, according to their time zone preferences.
