Are you organizing an event to mark International Day for Biological Diversity (IDB) on 22 May 2024?

The Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) would like to highlight your Biodiversity Day celebrations. Use the form below to submit information about your event.

There is no such thing as a small event. Any event, be it in-person, on-line or hybrid, that aims to raise awareness of the importance and value of biodiversity is commendable and has a place in the IDB 2024 list of events.

This year, the the IDB theme is "Be part of the Plan". Please consider articulating your event programme around that theme. Your contribution to bringing about a whole-of-government, whole-of-society approach to the implementation of the Biodiversity Plan is crucial.

The list of IDB 2024 events taking place around the globe will be promoted on the CBD website and on social media.
