Zimbabwe commemorated the International Day for Biological Diversity on Friday the 20th of May, 2011 since the 22nd of May was on a Sunday. We marked this day through a press statement by the Honourable Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Management Francis D.C. Nhema (MP). The commemoration was held at 10:00 am and was followed by general discussions on biodiversity. This event was attended by 50 participants drawn from 31 of our valued Stakeholders.
