Dear Madam/Sir, Side Events offer a unique opportunity for sharing experiences, highlighting best practices and increasing opportunities for dialogue among the delegates. The Secretariat recognizes the importance of these events that take place in the margins of our official meetings. With this in mind, I have the pleasure to inform you that the compilation of side events held during the Fourth meeting of the Ad Hoc Open-ended Inter-sessional Working Group on Article 8(j) and Related Provisions and the Fourth meeting of the Ad Hoc Open-ended Working Group on Access and Benefit-sharing, held in Granada, Spain are now available on our new directory of side events located at: http://www.biodiv.org/doc/publications/side-events.shtml Printed versions of the Compendium will be mailed from the Secretariat to all participants and interested organizations shortly.
