Fourth meeting of the Ad hoc Technical Expert Group on the Review of Implementation of the Programme of Work on Forest Biological Diversity, FAO Rome, Italy from 28 May to 1 June 2007.

Dear Madam/Sir, I am pleased to announce that the fourth meeting of the Ad hoc Technical Expert Group (AHTEG) on the Review of Implementation of the Programme of Work on Forest Biological Diversity will take place from 28 May to 1 June 2007 in Rome, Italy, at the Headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, with the generous support of the European Community. I would like to draw your attention to the attached provisional and annotated agendas. Other documents for the meeting and information regarding logistics will be posted on the Secretariat website www.biodiv.org as they become available. The list of experts invited to this meeting is provided in Annex I of this letter. This list includes experts selected at previous AHTEG meetings on the Review of Implementation of the Programme of Work on Forest Biological Diversity as well as experts selected to increase bio-geographical representation pursuant to paragraph 2 of decision VIII/19 C.
