Report on Global Celebrations of the International Year of Biodiversity: March 2010
Dear Madam/Sir, The Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity is pleased to share highlights of the global celebrations of the International Year of Biodiversity for March 2010. The Secretariat kindly reminds all Parties that have not yet submitted their IYB celebration plan to keep the Secretariat informed including other noteworthy activities organized by Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and/or other organizations in order that these may be included in the monthly IYB global report and the IYB celebrations webpage, and for final inclusion in the IYB report, which will be considered at the sixty-sixth session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
