Dear Madam/Sir, Following consultations by the Co-Chairs through the letter they circulated on 24 March 2010, and the generous offer made, one more time, by the Government of Malaysia, to host it, the third meeting of the Group of the Friends of the Co-Chairs will be held from 15 to 19 June 2010 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Secretariat would like to inform you that identification and invitation of friends and advisors to the meeting has commenced in line with the composition of the Group specified in paragraphs 1 (e) and (f) of decision BS-IV/12 and in consultation with appropriate representatives of each region as well as the Co-Chairs, and taking also into account the experiences from the previous meetings of the Group. In that context, we kindly invite the concerned Parties and/or regions to confirm to us their respective friends and advisors who will participate in the meeting. We are pleased to inform you that the Co-Chairs have indicated, in their letter mentioned above and using their discretion specified in paragraph 1(g) of decision BS-IV/12, that the meeting will generally be open for observers, unless decided otherwise during the meeting depending on circumstances.
