Dear Madam/Sir, As part of the ongoing cooperation between the secretariats of the Convention on Biological Diversity and the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture, I am pleased to circulate herewith the Third Call for Proposals of the Benefit-sharing Fund of the International Treaty. Any governmental or non-governmental organization, including farmers and farmers’ organizations, genebanks and research institutions, as well as regional and international organizations, based in eligible countries that are Contracting Parties to the International Treaty, may apply for grants under the Benefit-sharing Fund. Please note that the text of the Call for Proposals and the Submission Forms are available at: http://www.planttreaty.org/content/bsfcall3. The deadline for submitting applications is 2 June 2014.
