Dear Madam/Sir, In accordance with decision 14/20 (https://www.cbd.int/doc/decisions/cop-14/cop-14-dec-20-en.pdf), paragraph 11 €, the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity has commissioned several studies including one on how domestic measures address benefit-sharing arising from commercial and non-commercial use of digital sequence information on genetic resources and address the use of digital sequence information on genetic resources for research and development, taking into account the submissions provided pursuant to paragraph 9 of decision 14/20. Submissions made available to the Secretariat are available at: https://www.cbd.int/abs/dsi-gr/2019-2020/submissions.shtml. We would like to encourage you to participate in this important study and fill-out the survey annexed and returning it by e-mail to secretariat@cbd.int no later than 1 July 2019.
