Dear Madam/Sir, I am pleased to inform you that in response to decision 14/18 (https://www.cbd.int/doc/decisions/cop-14/cop-14-dec-18-en.pdf), which requests a review of the implementation of the 2015-2020 Gender Plan of Action, the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity has prepared a survey to solicit input from Parties and other relevant organizations on this matter. One version of this questionnaire is intended for National Focal Points of the Convention and other staff of government offices responsible for implementation. The second version is aimed at international organizations, civil society organizations and other relevant organizations engaged in working to achieve the objectives of the Convention, at international, regional, national and local scales. In this regard, I am pleased to invite Parties to complete a 20-minute survey accessible at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LZMM8PH Other relevant organizations are invited to complete the survey accessible at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/VKSY5DS You are requested to complete the survey as soon as possible but no later than 20 December 2019. In addition, Parties and other relevant organizations are invited to submit any other information on the efforts undertaken, progress made, and gaps, best practices and lessons learned in implementation of the 2015-2020 Gender Plan of Action, directly to the Gender Programme Officer at tanya.mcgregor@cbd.int in order to inform the review, by 20 December 2019. Results of the survey and assessment of the additional inputs provided by Parties and other relevant organizations will inform the review of the implementation of the 2015-2020 Gender Plan of Action.
