Webinar to launch CBD Technical Series No. 99: Review of the Impacts of Anthropogenic Underwater Noise on Marine Biodiversity and Approaches to Manage and Mitigate Them, 5 May 2022

Dear Madam/Sir, I am pleased to inform Parties and observers that the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity is organizing a global webinar to launch CBD Technical Series No. 99: Review of the Impacts of Anthropogenic Underwater Noise on Marine Biodiversity and Approaches to Manage and Mitigate Them, on 5 May 2022, from 9.00 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. EDT (GMT-4). The webinar will provide an overview of the new report, which is built on previous work under the Convention on underwater noise, and will also highlight ongoing efforts of other international organizations on this issue. The webinar will be held virtually, in English only, using the GoToWebinar platform.
