Dear Sir or Madam, Reference is made to notification 2023-122 issued on 6 November 2023, inviting Parties, other Governments, international organizations and relevant stakeholders to participate in the Open-ended Online Forum on Long-term approach on mainstreaming and associated Action Plan. The Open-ended Online Forum is accessible at https://www.cbd.int/mainstreaming/LTAM/. I would like to thank governments, indigenous peoples and local communities, relevant initiatives and stakeholders that have submitted their input and to invite those that have not yet done so, to submit any relevant information as soon as possible. I am also pleased to inform you that the deadline to submit comments and contributions has been extended to 10 January 2024. Pursuant to paragraph 3 of the decision 15/17 on the Long-term strategic approach to mainstreaming biodiversity within and across sectors, the information and the views submitted, including on an interim process, will be compiled in a report that will be submitted for consideration by the Subsidiary Body on Implementation at its fourth meeting, to be held in May next year.
