Notification 2025-036

Dear Sir or Madam,

Further to notification 2025-021 dated 21 February 2025, I am writing to inform you that, due to unforeseen circumstances, the online forum on invasive alien species originally planned to take place from the 1-22 April 2025 will now be rescheduled to 7-25 April 2025.

The Secretariat regrets any inconvenience that may result from this postponement and conveys its appreciation to those who have already submitted their nominations. We take this opportunity to invite the Parties, other Governments, indigenous peoples and local communities, and relevant organizations that have not yet send their nominations to do so by 1 April 2025.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter and your continued support to the work of the Convention.

Please accept, Sir, Madam, the assurances of my highest consideration.

(Signed) Astrid Schomaker
Executive Secretary
