Dear Sir or Madam,

 I am pleased to advise that a regional dialogue on National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans (NBSAPs) for the Western European and Others Group (WEOG), and for Parties covered by the European Subregional Technical and Scientific Cooperation Support Centre (TSC), focused on planning, monitoring, reporting and review, will be held on 23-25 September 2025 in Brussels, Belgium. This dialogue is hosted by the European Union and the European Commission Knowledge Centre for Biodiversity (KCBD) in partnership with the International Union for Conservation of Nature Centre for Mediterranean Cooperation (IUCN Med) and the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences (RBINS), and in cooperation with the CBD Secretariat.

The first day of the dialogue will focus on the monitoring framework for the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KMGBF) and the preparation of the seventh national report. On the second and third days, the European subregional TSC Support Centre will present its governance and strategy for supporting Parties in the KMGBF implementation, monitoring and reporting on progress.

Official invitations will be sent by the European Union to relevant Parties and organizations in due course.
