Announcement of Exhibitors Selected for the 2026 Biodiversity Technology and Innovation Expo
Dear Sir or Madam,
Reference is made to notification 2026-052 in which Parties, indigenous peoples and local communities, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, academic and research institutions, and private sector organizations were invited to submit their expression of interest in participating in the 2026 Biodiversity Technology and Innovation Expo, to be held on the margins of the UN Biodiversity Conference in Yerevan, Armenia from 19 October to 30 October 2026.
I am pleased to announce that, after a careful and comprehensive review of the 62 submissions received, 20 exhibitors have been invited to showcase state-of-the-art technologies and innovations they have developed to support the implementation of the Convention on Biological Diversity, its Protocols and the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. A list of the selected exhibitors, along with the dates on which they will be showcasing their technologies and innovations, is attached in the annex to the present notification. Additional information regarding the technologies and innovations to be showcased will be made available on the Secretariat’s webpage dedicated to the Expo in due course.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all applicants who responded to the call for expressions of interest and to encourage those who were unsuccessful this time around to try again in the future.
Please accept, Sir, Madam, the assurances of my highest consideration.
(Signed) Astrid Schomaker
