Notification 2026-076

Dear Sir or Madam,

Reference it made to notification 2026-041, inviting Parties and observers to register for the seventeenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 17), the twelfth meeting of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety (COP-MOP 12), and the sixth meeting of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Nagoya Protocol on Access and Benefit-sharing (COP-MOP 6), to be held concurrently from 19 to 30 October 2026 in Yerevan, Armenia. 

I would like to remind Parties and observers that important logistical information, including submission procedures and deadlines for side-events catering, vehicle permits, shipments, visas, registration hours and transportation routes for the Conference, among other important matters, can be found on the following website: https://www.cbd.int/conferences/2026/info-note.  I encourage all participants to consult this webpage regularly as new information is continuously added as we move closer to the Conference. 

I would also like to inform Parties and observers that access to the Leaders’ Summit taking place on 16 October 2026 at the Meridian Expo and Event Centre will be open to all registered delegates to the Conference.  Those wishing to attend the event should collect their access badge at the registration tent on the previous day to avoid delays.
