Reporting Guidelines for the Fourth National Report

The fourth national report guidelines were developed in accordance with Decision VIII/14. When preparing their fourth national report, Parties are requested to provide information while focussing on:

  • outcomes and impacts of actions or measures taken to implement the Convention
  • success stories and case-studies, if any
  • major obstacles encountered in implementation
  • actions that need to be taken to enhance implementation

The reference manual for the fourth national report provides further, more detailed suggestions for the preparation of the fourth national report, as well as a list of materials and web links which countries can use when preparing their report.
