International Day for Biodiversity 2022 Webinar                

This is a webinar organised by the Nigeria Tropical Biology Association (an alumni association of Tropical Biology Association field courses) in collaboration with the Natural Resources Conservation Unit, Department of Zoology, University of Lagos to celebrate the International Day for Biodiversity, 2022 among the intellectuals and other community members. Two presentations will be made by senior lecturers from leading Universities in Nigeria around this year's Theme: "Building a shared future for all life”, and greenwashing. Both are to raise awareness on the values of biodiversity as web of life, and the need to conserve them through sustainable use for future generations.

Civil Society Dialogue on the Conservation of Biodiversity: we are part of the solution

In commemoration of the 2021 International Day of Biodiversity, the Civil Society Actions on Climate, Energy and Biodiversity (CiSACEB) project/Afrihealth Optonet Association (an NGO Network with consultative status at the United Nations ECOSOC) and Society for Conservation & Sustainability of Energy & Environment in Nigeria (SOCSEEN) are organizing a 'Civil Society Dialogue on the Conservation of Biodiversity: we are part of the solution'.

The event shall review and discuss the place and roles of the civil society in Biodiversity management.

As informed by the COVID-19 pandemic realities, the event shall hold virtually, on Zoom
