Festival of Biodiversity, Singapore, 26-27 May 2012, Singapore Botanic Gardens
The National Parks Board (NParks), in collaboration with the Biodiversity Roundtable of Singapore is organising the inaugural Festival of Biodiversity to celebrate and commemorate the International Day for Biodiversity and Rio+20.
The natural history community of NGOs, groups, agencies and institutes are coming together at the festival to promote an awareness and appreciation of Singapore's biodiversity and promote participation in various events year-round and volunteerism with various groups through numerous exhibitions of wildlife, photos, research posters, coupled with activities for children, mini-symposia, walks, painting a mural.
