Part Two of the UN Biodiversity Conference (COP-15) will be held in Montreal Canada from 7 to 19 December 2022. Part One of the UN Biodiversity Conference (COP-15) was held in Kunming, China, on 11 October 2021. Due to the pandemic situation, this first phase of the conference was held virtually, with limited onsite participation in Kunming.
UN Biodiversity Conference comprises three meetings held concurrently:
- Fifteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP-15) to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD). www.cbd.int/conferences/2021-2022/cop-15/documents

Registration Counter (badge issuance) Operating Hours and Procedures
The COP-15 Registration counter is located at the “Caisse de Dépôt et Placements du Québec” building directly facing the Palais des Congrès. Participants will access the entrance located at 400 Viger Ouest as the main entrance to the registration counter (badge issuance) and exiting from the 1000 Jean Paul Riopelle doors.
Delegates will be required to show their Priority Pass, proof of vaccination, Photo-ID and take a COVID test at the entrance and are urged to please have them ready. We encourage delegates to obtain their conference badge/register prior to the morning of 7 December to reduce the lineups on the day of the official opening. Organizing Press Briefings
The Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity is pleased to invite Parties, organizations, and representatives of indigenous peoples and local communities to organise press briefings at the margins of the meetings of the Convention on Biological Diversity and its Protocols. To best prepare your press briefing and to ensure the smooth and efficient conduct of the media events during the conference, we recommend that all organizers carefully read this FAQs document.
