Global Biodiversity Framework Pavilion 2026

24-29 October 2026

Yerevan, Armenia

The Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework represents a global commitment to halt and reverse biodiversity loss and to place nature at the center of sustainable development. Its ambitious goals and targets require coordinated action across sectors, levels of governance and areas of policy, as well as strengthened cooperation among Parties, organizations and partners.

The Pavilion is intended as a space for strategic dialogue and practical exchange, supporting coherence and impact in delivery of the Framework.

Transformative Change Day

25 October

18:30 - 20:00

This session will be the closing ceremony of the Forum on advancing solutions to the underlying causes of biodiversity loss and will pave the way for the next steps.

Building on the discussions and insights gathered during the 3-day Forum, this session will bring together high-level voices and partners to explore guiding principles for shaping a system that support the well-being of people and societies, and can thrive in harmony with nature. These principles will explore how economic models and value systems can evolve to better support the targets of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.

The session will culminate in a collective call to advance the dialogue and action on solutions to the underlying causes of biodiversity loss, and to place transformative change at the heart of biodiversity action. It will also mark the launch of a new SNAP Quebec's initiative to carry this dialogue forward and create opportunities to continue collaboration around transformative solutions.
