UNU-IAS organises a symposium in advance of Biodiversity Day to celebrate the International Day for Biological Diversity 2023 in Japan, raising awareness and deepening understanding of biodiversity issues. Focusing on the theme “From Agreement to Action: Build Back Biodiversity”, the symposium explores global trends towards the achievement of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework and introduces tangible efforts by various sectors, discussing how to accelerate actions towards putting nature on a path to recovery.

This in-person event is held at the Elizabeth Rose Hall on the 5th floor of the UNU Headquarters building in Tokyo.
