Grants of up to US$110 000 for Biodiversity Conservation in the Mediterranean Basin
The Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF) invites Letters of Inquiry (LOIs) for large grants (up to US$110 thousand) for projects that support the conservation and preservation of biodiversity in coastal areas of Cabo Verde. Eligibility extends to non-governmental organizations, community groups, universities and private enterprises. The ecosystem profile technical summary is available in English and Portuguese. LOIs must be submitted by 30 November 2020.
Non-governmental organizations, community groups, universities and private enterprises may apply for funding. Individuals must work with civil society organizations to develop applications rather than apply directly. Government-owned enterprises or institutions are eligible only if they can establish that they have a legal personality independent of any government agency or actor; that they have the authority to apply for and receive private funds and may not assert a claim of sovereign immunity.
Applications (LOIs) can be submitted in English or Portuguese. All applications must be submitted through the Conservation Grants website. CEPF will not accept LOIs via email or any other mechanism. You will receive an acknowledgement from CEPF confirming that your submission has been received.
