Climate risk insurance for projects with a focus on agriculture from the InsuResilience Solutions Fund
InsuResilience Solutions Fund (ISF) seeks climate risk insurance projects with a focus on agriculture. The Fund has established a separate window specifically for climate risk insurance products complementing climate-smart agricultural practices and promoting biodiversity. The ISF provides grant-based co-funding of up to €2.5 million, but requires matching the grant funding (in-kind and/or as a financial contribution). Eligibility extends to private and public organizations located in Asia and the Pacific, Africa, Eastern Europe, and Latin America. The application deadline is 31 March 2022.

Eligibility extends to private and public organizations located in Asia and the Pacific, Africa, Eastern Europe, and Latin America. Agricultural insurance solutions proposed under the 7th Call for Proposals should identify and leverage linkages to CSA by focusing directly or indirectly (or have a component) on end-beneficiaries (farmers).
Candidates who are planning to develop a climate risk insurance project and are looking for financial support need to submit their concept note by 31 March 2022, 23:59 CEST. Further information on how to prepare the concept note is available on the website of the call.
