2018 IDB Celebrations


On May 22nd 2018, for the 25th anniversary of the International Day for Biological Diversity (IDB), officials of the government of Cambodia, the Asean Secretariat and the Asean Centre for Biodiversity (ACB), united in Siem Reap, Cambodia, to celebrate the occasion. The annual event was held at Wat Bo Primary School and functioned as a space for representatives of the government, international organizations, youth, media and other sectors to coalesce to display their pledge to biological diversity and to celebrate 25 years of the Convention on Biological Diversity.

This year also marks Khiri’s 25th anniversary and to help celebrate, Khiri Travel Laos’s will be hosting a special seminar and clean up focusing on Biodiversity and Invasive species. Khiri’s Vientiane team want to show that a beautiful city is more than just visual, it is formed by working together to care for people and nature in balance.
