Tenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 10)

Symposium on Japanese biodiversity and its conservation with scientific talks focusing on biodiversity informatics and its application to biodiversity conservation in Japan. Expected speakers in the symposium will be scientists working in biodiversity itself and biodiversity informatics. Citizen scientists will also be invited as speakers in the symposium. We have developed networks of 37 natural history museums in Japan, which will serve for resources for speakers of the symposium. In addition, we have established the connections between the museum networks and scientists working in research institutions and universities, which will be helpful to implement the symposium.
