Date and Time
12 October 2012 13:15 - 14:45

Meeting
Eleventh meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 11)

This event will discuss the linkage between climate change, agriculture biodiversity and food security. The major focus of the discussion will be how climate change has been affecting agriculture biodiversity and hence food security. It will seek answers to some pressing questions such as: Are the effects the same throughout all countries? What should be the response mechanisms of developing and least-developed countries? Have existing international instruments adequately addressed this issue? What should be the future course of action? Can regional cooperation play a role?
