The side-event will launch a guide on Community Protocols for policy makers and other stakeholders that was developed by UNEP and EDO NSW which was supported by the Government of Spain through the LifeWeb Initiative. The event will also present case studies from five (5) different regions of the world and further elaborate on the new concept of Community Protocols within the context of the Nagoya Protocol.
