Public Interest Intellectual Property Advisors (PIIPA) is a non-profit organization headquartered in Washington D.C. that helps developing countries find no or low-cost intellectual property assistance. We presently have over 55 projects around the world in areas as diverse as helping with IP legislation, trademarks, patents, alternative dispute resolution, and contract negotiation. PIIPA's capabilities will be presented, as well as decriptions of current projects. The purpose of this will be to provide a "snap shot" of world-wide IP needs.
