This event will discuss mechanisms and strategies of countries in the Southern Cone of South America to integrate biodiversity conservation and sustainable use into the productive landscape. Presenters will be GEF-funded projects sponsored by the World Bank and will be open to a broader audience to delineate common and different approaches, lessons learnt and regional strategies to incorporate biodiversity in the economy of rural areas of the main ecoregions of the Southern Cone of South America.
