Presentation of the results of GEF-UNEP-WWF project: GAP analysis and regional Ecological network design, adopted by the countries of the region as the main base for protected areas system development and sustainable land-use development. Integration of biodiversity conservation into the Regional Environmental Action Plan (REAP) for sustainable development. Presentation of the project results, plans for implementation - initial commitments of the countries : important contribution of the countries in conducting their obligations in accordance to CBD PA PoW (plans on creation of new PAs, including 6 mln ha steppe protected area "Altyn-Dala" in Kazakhstan)
