Title The Value of Nature; Ecological, Economic, Cultural and Social Benefits of Protected Areas
Description This brochure is an attempt to illustrate the ecological, economic, social and cultural benefits of protected areas, in order to generate
a stronger call to action for policy-makers and other stakeholders. There is a need to expand coverage of protected areas and improve their representativeness and effectiveness and to stimulate political will as well as enhance human and financial resources. One way to promote these needs is to describe the many benefits of protected areas in a more comprehensive and convincing way.
