In September 2019, the United Nations invited China to lead a Nature-based Solution coalition with New Zealand. Nature-based Solutions emphasize the synergy between biodiversity conservation and climate change, and is vital towards achieving carbon neutrality. Taking nature-based solutions as a basis, this event highlights the enormous potential of nature in the path to a carbon-neutral future, inviting scholars and world leaders from the Asian Development Bank, World Economic Forum, The Nature Conservancy and the Global Alliance of Universities on Climate with the GAUC youth ambassadors.
