The strategic vision and global roadmap for biodiversity and ecosystems depends on solid foundations for delivering urgent action. In this session, an experienced interviewer will challenge biodiversity experts on the role rigorous and trusted international standards can play in providing much needed solutions. A “Firestarter” video will set the scene for speakers to examine the guidance and support international standards can provide to halt the trends that exacerbate biodiversity loss. With contributions from diverse audience voices the session will uncover solutions and inspiration for the transformation of economic, social and financial models and the recovery of natural ecosystems.
