The event aims to feature and present on a range of solutions for conserving and sustainable management and use of biodiversity in Belize: The outreach and momentum generated by these events is to be reinforced to feature Instruments of sustainable development.
The specific objectives include:
To feature a range of solutions supporting the conservation and sustainable management and use of biodiversity in Belize for the benefit of its people and the environment.
 
To Emphasize and demonstrate the importance of integrated approaches in the implementation of the CBD towards common objectives.
 
Outline key areas for ambitious action and needs under the CBD Convention’s processes
Finance solutions to be highlighted include:
The Prioritized finance solutions for Belize includes the following:
• Strengthening Environmental Funds
• Green/Blue Debt
• Crowd Funding
• Compensation for Planned Environmental Damage
• Debt-for-nature Swap
