Mainstreaming is a key item issue continuously promoted by the CBD Process. The second phase of COP15 adopted the "Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework" (hereinafter referred to as the GBF, as well as a long-term strategic approach to integrating biodiversity into sectoral and cross-sectoral mainstreaming (Decision 15/17). Fully integrating biodiversity and its values into planning and sectoral policies, and promoting the participation of business and financial institutions are important ways to mainstream biodiversity. in the name of China Partnership for Business and Biodiversity (CPBB), based on the experience of successfully hosting the side event titled "Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework - Chinese business in Action" at the second phase of COP15, it is necessary to further discuss innovative ideas and solutions to promote biodiversity mainstreaming, in particular demonstrate China’s latest progress in promoting the establishment of a long-term mechanism for biodiversity mainstreaming led by the government, with the active action of businesses and the broad participation of the public, and of solutions at home and abroad for the implementation of the GBF. with two components: "3030 Goals and Mainstreaming of Biodiversity" and "Business Solutions for Mainstreaming Biodiversity", the event will cover spatial planning, the latest achievements in the reform of China's natural protected area management, the coordination of biodiversity conservation and its response to climate change, innovation in biodiversity finance, and the sharing of practical experience in industries such as food, dairy, mining, power manufacturing, internet technology, and finance.
