The partners will showcase how Plant Treaty implementation is contributing to reach goals and targets of the KMGBF. Besides operational mechanisms and policy products, the Plant Treaty enables data generation to support decision-making.

The Secretariat of the Plant Treaty will present a flagship report to be published on the occasion of the CBD COP 17 to provide a comprehensive analysis of the Treaty's Multilateral System on Access and Benefit-sharing including in terms of delivery of plant material for agricultural research, generation of monetary and non-monetary benefit-sharing, the network of international collections operating under the Treaty (in particular the CGIAR) or the support to gene banks in the Multilateral System suffering from emergencies.
