This event will move beyond the conceptual case for nature security to showcase implementation in practice. Through international examples and case studies, speakers will explore how governments are embedding nature-related risks into decision-making, humanitarian organisations are responding to ecosystem decline, financial institutions are integrating nature risk, forecasting and early-warning systems are supporting preparedness, and ecosystem restoration is strengthening resilience. Bringing together policymakers, Indigenous Peoples and local communities, researchers, finance and business leaders, the discussion will identify practical approaches, partnerships and coalitions that can accelerate delivery of the Global Biodiversity Framework through an interactive panel and audience engagement.
