Practical Guide on Capacity-Building and Development for Biodiversity
Paragraphs 16(a) and 16(b) of decision 15/8 requested the Executive Secretary to promote awareness of the long-term strategic framework for capacity-building and development and to make available additional guidance to assist Parties, indigenous peoples and local communities, women and youth organizations, and other relevant stakeholders in their capacity development efforts.
In response to the above requests, the Secretariat developed a Practical Guide on Capacity-Building and Development for Biodiversity intended to help policymakers, practitioners and partners better design, implement, monitor and sustain capacity development efforts in support of the achievement of the goals and targets of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.
