Social equity, a key tem & equity assessments of legal frameworks a proposed methodology
[#1114]
Social equity is a key suggested term to further explore in the dialogue on the contribution of collective action of indigenous and local communities. A suggested methodology are equity assessments which can help analyse if legal environmental frameworks concerning biodiversity financing mechanisms such as climate funding with potential co-benefits for biodiversity (e.g. REDD+) support or inhibit collective action of indigenous peoples and local communities (see an example enclosed).
